Terms of service for Continental Services Heating and Air Conditioning
By accessing and using the services of Continental Services Heating and Air Conditioning ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
Continental Services provides HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services, geothermal systems, and indoor air quality solutions in Prince Frederick, MD and surrounding areas. All services are subject to these terms and any additional agreements made at the time of service.
Service appointments can be scheduled by phone, online, or through our contact form. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive during the scheduled time window.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. If access is denied or unsafe conditions prevent service, you may be charged a service call fee.
Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during service. We will notify you of any significant changes before proceeding with work.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A convenience fee may apply to credit card transactions.
Past due accounts may be subject to late fees and interest charges. Accounts more than 30 days past due may be sent to collections.
We warrant our labor for a period of one year from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover issues arising from normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by others.
Parts and equipment are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will assist in processing warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer warranty limitations or denials.
Warranties do not cover damage from Acts of God, accidents, improper use, lack of proper maintenance, or modifications made by others.
Continental Services maintains appropriate insurance coverage. Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, revenue, or property damage beyond our direct control.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code violations, or issues not directly related to the services we provide.
Emergency services are available outside regular business hours and may be subject to additional fees. Emergency service calls will be billed at premium rates as disclosed at time of scheduling.
When required, we will obtain necessary permits for our work. You are responsible for ensuring any improvements comply with homeowner association rules and local ordinances not directly related to our services.
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Continental Services or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Both parties agree to attempt good faith resolution before pursuing legal action.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
